Standard Terms and Conditions

By booking with WIZ ADVENTURE SDN. BHD. (“the Company”), customers are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted the following terms and conditions.

 


1. BOOKING, PAYMENT & PRICING

1.1 Reservation and Deposit

  • A deposit is required to secure your reservation.

  • The balance of the full payment must be settled within the period specified by the Company, and no later than 45 days before departure.

  • Failure to comply may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of the deposit.

1.2 Pricing and Adjustments

  • Prices are current at the time of publication but may change due to airfares, transportation, hotel rates, exchange rates, taxes, or other factors.

  • The Company reserves the right to adjust prices before confirmation and will inform customers accordingly.

1.3 Inclusions and Exclusions

Included:

    • Hotel accommodation (twin/triple sharing, single supplement applies)

    • Meals, sightseeing, transport, and items specified in the itinerary

Not included:

    • Laundry, food/beverages not listed, optional activities, personal expenses

 


2. AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

2.1 Amendments

2.1.1 Free Independent Traveller (FIT) Tours

  • After confirmation, any changes to the reservation are subject to an amendment fee of RM50.00 per person per change.

  • No changes are permitted within 14 days before departure.

  • All changes are subject to the terms of airlines or activity operators and may incur additional charges.

  • Changing the entire reservation is considered a cancellation and subject to cancellation charges (see 2.2.1).

2.1.2 Group Tours

  • No changes are permitted after confirmation.

  • Requests for early or late return are subject to airline or operator conditions.

  • Changing the entire reservation is considered a cancellation and subject to cancellation charges (see 2.2.2).

2.2 Cancellations by Customer

2.2.1 FIT Tour Cancellation Policy

  • 45 days or more before departure: Deposit is non-refundable.

  • 22–44 days before departure: 70% of the travel cost is non-refundable.

  • Within 21 days before departure: 100% of the travel cost is non-refundable.

2.2.2 Group Tour Cancellation Policy

Before confirmation:

  • Full deposit may be transferred to another tour or refunded, subject to a RM100 administrative fee.

After confirmation:

  • If a replacement is found, full deposit may be transferred or refunded, subject to a RM100 administrative fee.

  • If no replacement is found:

  • 45 days or more before departure: Deposit is non-refundable.

  • 22–44 days before departure: 70% of the travel cost is non-refundable.

  • Within 21 days before departure: 100% of the travel cost is non-refundable.

  • Non-refundable expenses will not be refunded.

2.2.3 Private Group Tour Cancellation Policy

  • If a replacement is found, full deposit may be transferred or refunded, less a RM100 administrative fee.

  • Tour cost is based on the initial number of participants; reductions may incur additional fees.

  • If cancellations reduce the group below the minimum, the Company may:

  • Cancel the tour and offer refunds or alternatives, or

  • Convert the private tour to a public tour.

2.2.4 Notification and Refunds

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing via message or email. Verbal notifications are not valid.

  • Refunds will be processed based on individual circumstances and the above policies.

  • Non-refundable expenses (e.g., domestic air tickets, real-name train tickets, or other tickets included in the travel cost) will not be refunded.

2.2.5 Impact on Other Travelers

  • If group size falls below the minimum for discounts, discounted prices may be lost.

  • If a roommate cancels, a single supplement fee may apply.

2.2.6 Visa Rejection

  • If a visa application is rejected before departure, a partial refund will be processed according to the above policies.

 


3. COMPANY CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES

3.1 Company Cancellations

  • In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, natural disasters, transportation issues, illness, pandemics, strikes, war, government policies), the Company reserves the right to modify, cancel, or postpone the trip. Refunds or additional costs will depend on the situation.

  • If cancellation is due to internal company factors (e.g., insufficient participants), a full refund or alternative trip will be offered.

3.2 Changes to Itinerary

  • Airline schedules or local conditions may require changes to tours, hotels, or routes. The Company will make alternative arrangements as needed.

  • The Company reserves the right to adjust accommodation or itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.

 


4. TOUR MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES

4.1 Travel Documents & Entry Requirements

  • Tour members must have valid travel documents (passport valid for at least 6 months from return date), visas, vaccinations, and health certificates as required.

  • The Company is not responsible for costs or compensation if entry is refused or deported due to improper documents or behavior.

4.2 Fees and Charges

  • All service and visa fees are the responsibility of tour members.

4.3 Refusal of Entry

  • The Company is not liable for any expenses or refunds if entry is refused or deported due to unlawful items, improper documents, or detrimental behavior.

4.4 Additional Expenses

  • Tour members are responsible for any losses or additional expenses due to delays caused by uncontrollable factors.

 


5. FLIGHT PURCHASE SERVICE
  • Full payment is required at booking.

  • Passengers must check booking confirmations and ensure names match passports.

  • Changes to bookings must be requested in writing; fees apply.

  • The Company’s responsibility is limited to booking as instructed.

  • Bookings are subject to airline terms and conditions.

  • The Company is not liable for losses due to flight delays, cancellations, or events beyond control.

  • Passengers are responsible for check-in and staying informed about their bookings.

 


6. BAGGAGE
  • Airline baggage allowances vary. Passengers must check and comply with airline and airport requirements.

 


7. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
  • Optional activities not included in the tour fee are not part of this contract. The Company is not liable for optional activities arranged by third parties.

  • Not all excursions listed in the itinerary may be available during the tour.

 


8. UNUSED SERVICES & NO SHOWS
  • No refunds for unused airfare, accommodation, meals, tours, or services due to personal reasons.

  • No-shows forfeit the full tour fee.

  • Early termination of the trip does not entitle to refunds.

 


9. TRAVEL INSURANCE
  • All travelers must purchase their own international travel insurance. The Company is not responsible for losses due to insufficient or lack of insurance.

 


10. COMPLAINTS
  • Report problems to the relevant supplier and tour leader/representative immediately.

  • If unresolved, submit a written complaint within 28 days after the tour.

  • The Company aims to respond within 28 days, but some cases may take longer.

 


11. MEDIA & PROMOTIONS
  • The Company reserves the right to use photographs or videos taken during tours for advertising and promotional purposes in any media, unless otherwise notified by tour members.

 


12. DATA PROTECTION
  • The Company collects personal information to provide travel services.

  • Information may be shared with airlines, hotels, and authorities as needed.

  • Data may be transferred internationally in compliance with data protection laws.

  • Data is retained as necessary or as required by law.
